1,000 human teeth found inside wall of building

Construction workers in Georgia got the surprise of their lives when they made the grisly discovery last week. The teeth, which were piled up inside a wall cavity on the second floor of an old commercial building in Valdosta, had seemingly been placed there deliberately by one of the previous occupants.An investigation later revealed that the building had been home to a dentist’s office in the early 1900s.
Remarkably, two other similar such cases have been reported in the state, both involving former dentist’s offices that would have been active during roughly the same time period. “I’m not sure if it was a common practice between dentists at that time, but it’s very strange that there were two other people that [reported the same thing]” said Valdosta Main Street director Ellen Hill.
