Myanmar ‘ghost ship’ mystery finally solved

Myanmar ‘ghost ship’ mystery finally solved

Real life love spells that work

Authorities have determined what happened to a cargo vessel recently found drifting with no cargo or crew. Known as the Sam Rataulangi PB 1600, the ship was discovered earlier this week by fisherman in the Gulf of Martaban around seven miles from the coast of the city of Yangon. When it was first found, it was unclear exactly what had happened to its crew.

An investigation later revealed that a tugboat named Independence had been towing the Sam Rataulangi to a ship-breaking plant in Bangladesh when the two vessels ran in to bad weather. As the conditions worsened, the towing cable snapped, leading the tugboat crew to make the decision to abandon the Sam Rataulangi entirely somewhere south of the Yangon River.

It eventually ended up running aground after being carried off by the current.
